Lauretta Muir (left) from the University of Otago, Chirstchurch, has received an
eighteen month STAR Post-Doctoral Fellowship. The title of her project is
"Reducing the burden of Familial Hypercholesterolemia: A mixed method approach".Amanda Wilkinson (right) has received a three year STAR Scholarship to complete her PhD at the University of Otago, Christchurch. The title of her project is "Rhetoric and reality of self-care in New Zealand: patient, professional and policy perspectives". |

University, Scotland, was sponsored by the STAR Project and visited New Zealand

The title of their project is "Improving diabetes self-management - a randomised
controlled trial". Dr Marie Crowe (top left) and her team have also received a STAR Research Grant. The title of their project is "The clinical effectiveness of specialist supportive care for patients with bipolar disorder".
